Metanoia is a self-portrait series that focuses on psychological transformations displayed by physical angst. The juxtaposition of the rag, often denoting death and horror, against the healthy body is a major contributor to the anxiety this work emits. The choreographed movements conjure an artistic flow from the beginning to the end while the opaque mask develops a buffer between the subject and the viewer.
